Kho-Kho is played between two teams of twelve players, with nine on the field. One team chases while the other defends. The chasing team scores points by touching defenders out. Chasers must give “kho” by touching a seated teammate’s back. Defenders try to avoid being tagged. A match has two innings per team. Players must follow proper direction rules, and foul play or rule violations result in penalties or free turns.
